Day 91

The store near my work again appeared fresh spinach. I could not resist and took almost half a kilo of spinach.
I decided to try a new
Indian cuisine dish - Rice with Spinach (Palak Chavan.) I will give a simplified version, as I prepared this dish:)

200 g spinach
3 / 4 cup rice (well washed)

Spinach washed, cut off the thick stems. Cut down.
Poured into a pan, where we will cook rice, oil or butter. Then add the spices - turmeric, coriander, zira. Roasting spices. Then add the rice, mix well, and roasting rice, about 2-3 minutes. Acceding to the spinach mix. Add water (1.5 cup) and solt. Cook rice under the closed lid for about 15 - 20 minutes.
That's all:)
